After the Second World War, the United Nations was established as a supra-national organization with one of the major objectives to prevent the future generations from the scourge of war. Since war and aggression was no longer being seen as feasible tool to resolve conflicts, diplomacy emerged as a major tool in the path of regulating relations between the nation states.
